Our Story
Established in 1969 , we are one of the Karnataka’s oldest not-for-profit organisations that works with the poorest of the poor and the marginalised. What started off as a charity organisation, distributing food to the poorest of the poor, is today a 52 year old behemoth that spearheads the transformational development of the suffering in Bangalore, Kolar, Chikkaballapura, Ramanagaram and Tumkur.
Our interventions use strength based approach aimed at facilitating holistic and sustainable development of all people, journeying with them on the path to a dignified and equal life.
Our Focus
Our major focus has been in providing basic needs for the needy- water, food, clothes, home, education, health care and much needed skills for survival.
Rural Development
We construct houses for the poorest of the poor or renovate crumbling structures to make them habitable.
Disaster Management
Our incredible community has always actively worked towards supporting people affected by disaster.
Health
We tie up with hospitals across Bangalore for the provision of subsidised rates for our beneficiaries
Education
Skill, does not only certify that a person has gained knowledge about any particular field, but also lets them explore their inner talents.
Livelihood Support
